David Daugherty, DDS, PC

After working in a large group practice for 11 years, Dr. Daugherty wanted to serve patients in a smaller, more personalized setting. He opened the Aspen Dental Center in 2004 so he could have the opportunity to spend more one-on-one time with his patients and get to know each one as an individual.

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, Dr. Daugherty graduated from Creighton University Dental School in 1992. Since that time he has completed over 1500 hours of continuing education, including courses at the Rosenthal Institute for Aesthetic Dentistry, a one-year course in implantology from the University of Georgia, IV sedation training at the University of Georgia Medical and Dental College, Invisalign certification, advanced oral surgery courses, programs at the Las Vegas Implant Institute and at Bicon Implant Systems in Boston, and the Seattle Institute for Advanced Dental Education.  He has also completed training at the nationally renowned Misch Implant Institute.

Dr. Daugherty is active in several professional organizations. He is a Fellow in the Academy of General Dentistry, an honor earned by less than ten percent of the dentists in the U.S. He is also a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology.  He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Metropolitan Denver Dental Society, the Colorado Dental Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Daugherty's currently pursuing a Masters in Business Administration at Regis University. His hobbies include mountain biking and skiing.
