When should my child first see a dentist?
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and other dental organizations
recommend that your child first visit the dentist around one year of
age. Dr. Daugherty can check on the development of your child's teeth
and look for signs of problems such as baby bottle tooth decay, gum
disease or thumb sucking.
