Preventive Care

One of the most important parts of a good dental health program is learning how to care for your teeth and gums. When you prevent the onset or progression of periodontal (gum) disease and tooth decay, your teeth should stay healthy and useful throughout your life.

Regular checkups are the first step. Our experienced, licensed dental hygienist will clean your teeth, and then speak with you about how you can get the maximum longevity from your teeth. During your dental exam, Dr. Daugherty will check your teeth, supporting structures, soft tissues and jaw alignment while looking for any signs or changes that could indicate possible problems.

We will explain every procedure thoroughly and answer any questions you may have. We also use the CAESY patient education system, multi-media presentations providing you with additional information about various dental procedures.
